This high-performance camera is equipped with an approximate 1/2.8 type CMOS image sensor, delivering excellent performance even in low-light conditions. It boasts a minimum illumination of just 0.07 lx in color (30IRE, F2.0, 1/30s, AGC:11) and can achieve 0 lx in black and white with the IR LED activated (50IRE, F2.0, 1/30s, AGC:11, IR LED: On). The powerful IR LED Light offers a maximum irradiation distance of 40 m {Approx. 131 ft} (30IRE) or 30 m {Approx. 100 ft} (50IRE), with adjustable settings for High, Middle, Low, or Off. Flexible white balance options include ATW1, ATW2, and AWC.

For precise control over image capture, the camera offers a maximum shutter speed ranging from 1/10000 s to 16/30 s in 30fps mode, and 1/10000 s to 16/25 s in 25fps mode. It includes Intelligent Auto functionality (On/Off) and Super Dynamic capabilities (On/Off, with a range of 0 to 31) providing a maximum dynamic range of 120 dB. Further image optimization features include Adaptive Black Stretch (level 0 to 255), Back Light Compensation (BLC) / High Light Compensation (HLC) (On/Off, range 0 to 31, active when Super Dynamic/Intelligent Auto are off), and Fog Compensation (On/Off, range 0 to 8, active when Intelligent Auto/auto contrast adjust are off). The Maximum Gain (AGC) can be set from 0 to 11. Color/BW (ICR) functionality offers Off, On (IR Light Off), On (IR Light On), Auto1 (IR Light Off), Auto2 (IR Light On), and Auto3 (SCC) modes, while Digital Noise Reduction is adjustable from 0 to 255.

Beyond standard surveillance, the camera integrates advanced analytics including Video Motion Detection (VMD) with 4 available areas, and Scene Change Detection (SCD) with 1 available area. For privacy and precise monitoring, it features Privacy Zone (up to 8 zones) and VIQS (up to 8 zones), both with On/Off settings. Image orientation can be adjusted with Image Rotation options of 0° (Off), 90°, 180° (Upside-down), and 270°. A customizable Camera Title (OSD) can display up to 20 alphanumeric characters over 2 lines.

The camera’s operations are powered by an Ambarella CV25M System on Chip (SoC). The browser GUI supports brightness control and multiple languages including English, Italian, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Chinese, and Japanese, accessible via Microsoft Edge, Firefox, and Google Chrome.

For network connectivity, the camera utilizes a 10Base-T/100Base-TX RJ45 connector. It supports H.265/H.264 resolution options in 16:9 mode (1920×1080, 1280×720, 640×360, 320×180) and 4:3 mode (1600×1200, 1280×960, VGA, QVGA). Transmission modes include Constant bit rate, VBR, Frame rate, and Best effort, with Unicast and Multicast types. Maximum frame rates for Stream(1) are 1920×1080(30fps) / 1280×720(30fps) / 1600×1200(30fps), for Stream(2) are 640×360(30fps) / 1280×720(30fps) / 640×480(30fps), while Stream(3) is Off. JPEG (MJPEG) image quality is adjustable in 10 steps, and JPEG(1) supports 1920×1080(1fps) / 1920×1080(1fps) / 1600×1200(1fps), and JPEG(2) supports 1280×720(1fps) / 1280×720(1fps) / 1280×960(1fps). Smart Coding features GOP control (On with Frame rate control/Advanced/Mid/Low, or Off; Frame rate control and Advanced are H.265 only) and AUTO VIQS (On/Off, automatically Off when Audio is On). Audio compression includes G.726 (ADPCM) at 32 kbps/16 kbps, G.711 at 64 kbps, and AAC-LC at 64kbps/96kbps/128kbps.

The camera supports a wide range of protocols for IPv6 (TCP/IP, UDP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, SSL/TLS, SMTP, DNS, NTP, SNMPv1/v2/v3, DHCPv6, RTP, MLD, ICMP, ARP, IEEE 802.1X, DiffServ, MQTT, LLDP) and IPv4 (TCP/IP, UDP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, SSL/TLS, RTSP, RTP, RTP/RTCP, SMTP, DHCP, DNS, DDNS, NTP, SNMPv1/v2/v3, UPnP, IGMP, ICMP, ARP, IEEE 802.1X, DiffServ, MQTT, LLDP). It can accommodate up to 14 simultaneous users (depending on network conditions) and offers robust security features including a pre-installed GlobalSign® Device Certificate, HTTPS, user and digest authentication, Host authentication, IEEE802.1X, system and image transmission logs, and brute-force protection. Optional SDXC/SDHC/SD Memory Card support allows for H.265/H.264 recording (Manual REC, Alarm REC with Pre/Post, Schedule REC) with capacities ranging from 2 GB microSD to 512 GB microSDXC. It is compatible with iPad, iPhone, and Android™ terminals and is ONVIF® Profile G, S, and T compliant.

Alarm sources include VMD, SCD, and Command alarms, triggering actions such as SDXC/SDHC/SD memory recording, E-mail notification, HTTP alarm notification (with browser indication), and TCP alarm notification output. For audio input, a ø3.5 mm stereo mini jack supports plug-in power type microphones (sensitivity –51 dB to –38 dB, input impedance approx. 2 kΩ, supply voltage 2.5 V ±0.5 V) or line input (approx. -10 dBV). A ø3.5 mm stereo mini jack provides monaural audio output (output impedance approx. 600 Ω, output level -20 dBV).
