Sigma has expanded its Contemporary lens line to include the 16mm F1.4 DC DN and 23mm F1.4 DC DN lenses for Canon RF-mount APS-C mirrorless cameras. These lenses, previously available for other popular camera mounts, are now available for preorder, offering Canon users high-quality, fast-aperture prime lenses.

This expansion comes as Canon opens its RF lens mount to third-party manufacturers, providing more options for content creators. While full-frame autofocus lenses for the RF mount have been discontinued due to intellectual property rights issues, third-party autofocus support is now available for APS-C cameras.
