This sophisticated camera, equipped with an approximately 1/2.8 type CMOS image sensor, offers a scanning area of 5.12 mm (H) × 3.84 mm (V) {3/16 inches (H) × 5/32 inches (V)}. It excels in low-light environments, boasting a minimum illumination of 0.11 lx in color (30IRE, F2.0, 1/30 s, AGC: 11) and achieving 0 lx in black and white when the IR LED is activated (50IRE, F2.0, 1/30 s, AGC: 11, IR LED: On), thanks to its powerful IR LED with a maximum irradiation distance of 28 m {Approx. 92 ft} (30IRE) or 20 m {Approx. 66 ft} (50IRE). The camera supports ATW1, ATW2, and AWC white balance settings, and offers flexible maximum shutter speeds from 1/10000 s up to 16/30 s for 30/15 fps modes, and up to 16/25 s for 25/12.5 fps modes.

For optimal image quality, the camera features Intelligent Auto, Super Dynamic with a range of 0 to 31 for a maximum 120 dB dynamic range, Adaptive Black Stretch with a level range of 0 to 255, and Back Light Compensation (BLC)/High Light Compensation (HLC) adjustable from 0 to 31 (active only when Super Dynamic/Intelligent Auto are off). It also includes Fog Compensation (0 to 8, active only when Intelligent Auto/Auto contrast adjust are off), and adjustable Maximum Gain (AGC) from 0 to 11. Color/BW (ICR) functionality offers multiple modes: Off, On (IR Light Off/On), Auto1 (IR Light Off), Auto2 (IR Light On), and Auto3 (SCC). Digital Noise Reduction can be set from 0 to 255.

Beyond imaging, the camera integrates advanced analytics including Video Motion Detection (VMD) with 4 available areas, Scene Change Detection (SCD) with 1 area, and Audio Detection featuring AI Sound Classification for events such as gunshots, yells, vehicle horns, and glass breaks. It supports a maximum of one AI analytics application, with details available on the i-PRO website for both their own and third-party applications. Privacy Zone and VIQS can each be configured with up to 8 zones, and image rotation options include 0° (Off), 90°, 180° (Upside-down), and 270°. A Camera Title (OSD) can be displayed, supporting up to 40 characters over 2 lines.

The fixed focal length lens of 3.2 mm {1/8 inches} provides a wide angular field of view: 96° horizontal and 52° vertical in 16:9 mode, and 97° horizontal and 71° vertical in 4:3 mode. It features a maximum 4.0x digital (electronic) zoom. The camera’s adjusting angles allow for a horizontal (PAN) range of -175° to +175°, a vertical (TILT) range of -30° to +80°, and an Azimuth (YAW) range of -100° to +100°. The camera is powered by an Ambarella CV25M System on Chip. Its browser GUI supports English, Italian, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Chinese, and Japanese, and is accessible via Microsoft Edge, Firefox, and Google Chrome. Network connectivity is established through a 10BASE-T/100BASE-TX RJ45 connector.

In terms of resolution, the camera supports various configurations for 16:9 mode (30fps/25fps) including 2560×1440, 1920×1080, 1280×720, 640×360, and 320×180. For 4:3 mode (30fps/25fps), resolutions include 2592×1944, 2560×1920, 1280×960, 640×480, and 320×240, with additional options for 15fps/12.5fps 4:3 modes. It offers H.265/H.264 transmission with selectable priorities (Constant bit rate, VBR, Frame rate, Best effort) and types (Unicast port AUTO/MANUAL, Multicast), providing 4 simultaneous streams. JPEG (MJPEG) image quality is adjustable in 10 steps from 0 (SUPER FINE) to 9 (LOW). Smart Coding includes GOP control (Off, Low, Mid, Advanced, Frame rate control, with Advanced and Frame rate control exclusive to H.265), Smart VIQS (On High/Low, Off), and Smart P-picture control (On/Off). Audio compression methods are G.726 (16 kbps/32 kbps), G.711 (64 kbps), and AAC-LC (64 kbps/96 kbps/128 kbps), with audio transmission modes including Off, Mic (Line) input, Audio output, and Interactive (Half duplex/Full duplex).

Optional microSDXC/SDHC/SD memory card support is available for storage, ranging from 2GB to 512GB. Compatibility extends to iPad/iPhone (iOS 8.0 or later) and Android™ terminals, and the camera is ONVIF® Profile G, M, S, and T compliant.

Alarm sources include VMD, SCD, Command, and Audio detection, triggering actions such as SDXC/SDHC/SD memory recording, E-mail notification, HTTP alarm notification, browser indication, and TCP alarm notification output. For audio input, a ø3.5 mm stereo mini jack supports microphone input (plug-in power type, sensitivity –51 dB to –38 dB, input impedance approx. 2 kΩ, supply voltage 2.5 V ±0.5 V) or line input (approx. -10 dBV).
