Switching mounts is a straightforward physical swap rather than anything requiring a service center, so productions can move between cinema PL glass and EF stills lenses depending on the shoot.

The Sigma MC-21 takes a different approach, adapting Sigma EF-mount lenses onto L-mount cameras while keeping autofocus and auto-exposure working, useful for photographers and videographers who already own EF glass and have moved to an L-mount body. Prices run from AED 843 for the URSA Mini Pro EF mount up to AED 1,969 for the LPL mount, the priciest of the cinema-standard options.
