xThe Azden SGM-3500 Broadcast Shotgun Microphone is designed for video and audio production with a camcorder, video DSLR, or portable audio recorder. With a frequency response of 40 Hz to 20 kHz, it is suitable for on-camera mounting or as a boom pole microphone in professional video productions.
Measuring nearly 7" long, the SGM-3500's interference tube generates a supercardioid polar pattern and offers excellent rejection of off-axis sound. Featuring an all metal brass body that provides optimal RF rejection and durability, 48V phantom power, a gold-plated XLR connector to ensure a good connection and high resistance to corrosion and a boosted frequency response around 5 kHz where speech articulation is most present for clarity, the SGM-3500 boasts an ultralow noise floor at 13 dB for crystal clear audio.
