xThe Blackmagic Design 2110 IP Converter 8x12G SFP lets broadcasters connect 12G-SDI equipment to modern SMPTE-2110 IP video networks. It provides eight independent bidirectional conversion channels, making it suitable for professional broadcast and live production environments.
Each channel includes a dedicated 12G-SDI input and output, while the unit also provides a shared 12G-SDI program return. The eight 10G Ethernet SFP ports support SMPTE-2110 IP video and can use optical fiber Ethernet modules for long-distance connections.
The converter supports HD and Ultra HD signals up to 2160p60, with SDI rates from 270Mb/s through 12G. It also supports embedded audio, SMPTE ST 2110-20/21/30/40, PTP v2, and NMOS IS-04 and IS-05 for professional IP broadcast workflows.
