xThe Blackmagic Design ATEM Mini Extreme ISO G2 is a professional 8-input live production switcher designed for live streaming, broadcast, studio production and multi-camera workflows. It combines an integrated hardware control panel with advanced switching, streaming, recording and audio capabilities.
The switcher features 8 HDMI inputs with frame rate and format conversion, supporting HD video up to 1080p60. It also provides three HDMI program outputs, multi-view monitoring with up to 16 views, DVE, chroma keying, multiple keyers, media playback and professional camera control.
For recording, the ATEM Mini Extreme ISO G2 can independently record all eight HDMI inputs along with the program output. It can save a DaVinci Resolve project file, allowing the live production to be reopened and edited with the recorded source files. The built-in CFexpress support and Thunderbolt connectivity provide additional options for professional recording and playback workflows.
The built-in streaming engine allows direct streaming through Ethernet without requiring a computer, while the 1G and 10G Ethernet connections provide network connectivity for streaming, control and high-speed recording workflows. USB-C connections can also provide webcam output for applications such as video conferencing and streaming software.
Audio production is handled through a 58-channel mixer, two XLR combo inputs with phantom power and a 32-channel MADI digital audio input. The ATEM Mini Extreme ISO G2 also supports Blackmagic camera control, allowing compatible cameras to be adjusted directly from the switcher.
