xThe Blackmagic Design ATEM Talkback Converter 4K is a professional broadcast talkback solution designed to provide two-way communication between production teams and up to eight cameras. It uses embedded SDI audio channels 15 and 16 for talkback and supports SD, HD, Ultra HD, and 4K formats up to 2160p60.
The converter provides eight SDI camera inputs and outputs, along with a program input and loop-through output. It also supports optional optical fiber SFP modules, allowing camera signals and talkback audio to be extended over longer distances when required.
For communication, it includes push-to-talk controls, aviation-style headset connections, a built-in speaker, front-panel microphone input, and stereo RCA monitoring output. It can also be looped through to support productions with more than eight cameras.
