xThe Blackmagic Design Camera ProDock transforms a compatible iPhone into a professional production camera by adding the connections needed for studio, broadcast, multicamera, and cinematic workflows. It works with the Blackmagic Camera app for iPhone and provides HDMI monitoring, external storage, audio, genlock, timecode, and power connections.
The ProDock features one HDMI 2.1 output for connecting an external monitor or television. It also includes three USB-C ports, with two USB 3.2 ports designed for high-speed external media recording and one USB 2.0 port for accessories.
For professional synchronization, the Camera ProDock provides BNC genlock and timecode inputs, allowing compatible iPhones to synchronize with other cameras and production equipment. Genlock is supported on iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max models and can also help synchronize cameras with LED walls for flicker-free virtual production.
