xThe Blackmagic Design HyperDeck Extreme 8K HDR is a professional 8K broadcast recorder and playback deck designed for live production, broadcast, post-production, and high-resolution video workflows. It combines native 8K recording with advanced H.265 encoding, HDR support, internal cache, and professional SDI connectivity.
It features four 12G-SDI inputs, five SDI outputs, HDMI 2.0 input and output, and support for SD, HD, Ultra HD, 4K DCI, and native 8K formats up to 60p. The built-in 7-inch HDR LCD provides a 2000-nit display with 100% DCI-P3 coverage for monitoring video, audio, timecode, and recording information.
The HyperDeck Extreme 8K HDR also includes 3D LUTs, broadcast-quality scopes, 64-channel embedded SDI audio, professional XLR and RCA audio inputs, RS-422 deck control, 10Gb/s Ethernet, and USB-C external disk recording. Its internal 100–240V AC power supply and 12V XLR input support studio and mobile production workflows.
