It accepts HD/SD component, NTSC, PAL, and S-Video sources, making it useful for connecting legacy video equipment to SDI-based workflows.
The converter supports analog sources such as Betacam SP, VHS players, set-top boxes, HDV cameras, and other professional or consumer video devices. It automatically detects supported SD and HD formats and converts them into SDI for use with compatible production equipment.
For audio workflows, the Mini Converter Analog to SDI can embed audio into the SDI output from either balanced analog audio inputs or balanced AES/EBU digital audio inputs. It supports two channels of analog audio and two channels of AES/EBU audio.
The converter provides two SDI video outputs, allowing the converted signal to be distributed to multiple SDI devices. It also features SDI reclocking to help maintain signal quality throughout the workflow.
Configuration and software updates are available through the USB 2.0 connection, while mini switches provide convenient control over the converter's settings. A 12V universal power supply with international socket adapters is included.
