xThe Blackmagic Design Mini Converter HDMI to SDI 6G is a professional converter designed to convert HDMI video signals into SDI for use with broadcast, post-production, studio, and professional AV equipment. It supports SD, HD, 3G-SDI, and 6G-SDI formats, including DCI 4K up to 24p and Ultra HD 4K up to 30p.
The converter features an HDMI Type A input and two 6G-SDI outputs. Both SDI outputs carry duplicate signals, allowing the converted video to be distributed to multiple professional SDI devices. Automatic input detection makes it easy to work with different supported video formats.
Audio can be embedded directly into the SDI output from the HDMI source or through the converter's dedicated audio inputs. It supports two channels of balanced analog audio or four channels of AES/EBU digital audio, with 24-bit, 48 kHz audio sampling.
The Mini Converter HDMI to SDI 6G also includes HD scaling and SD down-conversion, making it suitable for integrating HDMI sources into existing SDI workflows.
