The Blackmagic Design Mini Converter SDI to Analog is a professional video converter designed to convert SD and HD-SDI signals to analog video. It supports component, S-Video, NTSC, and PAL outputs, making it ideal for connecting modern SDI equipment to analog monitors, video decks, and other legacy production equipment.

The converter supports SD and HD video formats up to 1080p30 and automatically detects the incoming SDI format. Its built-in down-converter allows HD SDI sources to be converted to standard-definition analog formats such as S-Video, NTSC, and PAL.

The Mini Converter SDI to Analog includes an SDI input, redundant SDI input, and SDI loop output. The redundant input can automatically switch over if the primary SDI input is lost, while the loop output allows the SDI signal to continue to another compatible device.

For audio workflows, the converter can de-embed audio from the SDI signal and output it through balanced analog or AES/EBU digital audio connections. It supports professional 24-bit, 48 kHz audio.

Settings can be controlled using the built-in mini switches or USB software. The USB connection also supports software and firmware updates using compatible Mac and Windows computers. A 12V universal power supply with international socket adapters is included.
