xThe Blackmagic Design Mini Converter SDI to Analog 4K is a professional video converter designed to convert SD, HD, 3G, and 6G-SDI signals to analog video. It supports component, composite, and S-Video outputs, making it useful for connecting modern SDI equipment to legacy analog monitors, decks, and other professional video devices.
With built-in down-conversion, the converter can accept Ultra HD 4K and DCI 4K sources and output compatible SD or HD analog video. It supports UHD 4K up to 30 fps and DCI 4K up to 24 fps, making it suitable for broadcast, post-production, studio, and professional AV workflows.
The converter features a primary SDI input, redundant SDI input, and SDI loop output. The redundant input can automatically switch over if the main SDI input is lost, while the loop output allows the SDI signal to be passed to another device.
The Mini Converter also provides audio de-embedding, allowing up to 16 channels of embedded SDI audio to be accessed through balanced analog or AES/EBU digital audio outputs. Audio is supported at 24-bit and 48 kHz for professional audio workflows.
Settings can be controlled through the built-in DIP switches or USB software, and the USB connection can also be used for firmware updates. A 12V universal power supply with international socket adapters is included.
