xThe Blackmagic Design MultiView 4 is a professional multiviewer designed to monitor up to four independent SDI video sources on a single display. With four 10-bit 6G-SDI inputs and full resynchronization, it can simultaneously handle SD, HD and Ultra HD signals, even when different video standards and frame rates are being used.
It supports monitoring on both HD and Ultra HD displays, with an HDMI Type A output and 10-bit SDI multiview output. When connected to an Ultra HD display, each of the four views can be displayed at up to 1920 x 1080 resolution for detailed monitoring.
Each view can include useful overlays such as custom labels and VU audio meters, making it easier to identify sources and monitor audio levels during live production. The unit also provides SDI re-clocking and automatic switching between SD, HD and 6G-SDI standards.
The MultiView 4 can be configured through RJ45 Ethernet or USB 2.0, while the included MultiView software provides control from Mac and Windows computers. It is well suited for broadcast studios, live events, production facilities and professional video monitoring environments.
