It features a large-format 12K RGBW sensor, up to 16 stops of dynamic range, and a fixed ARRI PL lens mount for professional cinema lenses.
The camera can record 12K, 9K, 8K, and 4K footage in Blackmagic RAW, with support for multiple aspect ratios including 3:2 open gate and 6:5 anamorphic. High-frame-rate recording is available at lower resolutions, including up to 112 fps at 8K 2.4:1.
The PYXIS 12K includes a 4-inch HDR touchscreen, dual CFexpress Type B card slots, USB-C recording, 12G-SDI output, 10Gb Ethernet, and professional audio connections.
