xThe Blackmagic Design PYXIS Monitor Kit is a professional 5-inch HDR touchscreen monitor designed to provide additional monitoring and camera control for Blackmagic PYXIS and compatible URSA Cine cameras. Its bright 1500-nit display provides clear viewing in bright shooting environments, while the touchscreen gives operators access to important camera settings and monitoring tools.
The monitor connects to compatible cameras through a single locking USB-C connection that carries video, power, data and camera control. It provides access to controls including frame rate, shutter, iris, ISO, white balance, tint, timecode, audio, focus zoom, recording and camera menus directly from the touchscreen.
Three assignable F1, F2 and F3 buttons provide quick access to frequently used functions such as focus assist, false color, zebra, frame guides, LUT display and recording. A built-in accelerometer automatically rotates the image when the monitor is mounted upside down, while the rear-facing tally light provides clear recording status.
The PYXIS Monitor Kit also provides flexible mounting options, including dedicated PYXIS mounting hardware with a dovetail design for quick attachment and removal. It is compatible with Blackmagic PYXIS 6K, PYXIS 6K PL, PYXIS 6K EF, URSA Cine 12K LF, URSA Cine 17K 65 and Micro Studio Camera 4K G2.
