xThe Blackmagic Design SDI to HDMI 6G Mini Converter is a professional video converter designed to convert SDI signals to HDMI for connecting professional SDI equipment to HDMI displays, televisions, projectors, and other compatible devices. It supports SD, HD, Ultra HD 4K, and DCI 4K video formats.
The converter supports 6G-SDI and can handle Ultra HD 4K up to 30p and DCI 4K up to 24p. Automatic input detection allows the unit to recognize incoming SD, HD, and 6G-SDI formats without complicated setup.
It features an HDMI Type A output and SDI loop output, allowing you to send the converted signal to an HDMI display while continuing the SDI signal to another compatible device. A redundant SDI input is also available and can automatically switch over if the primary input fails.
The Mini Converter SDI to HDMI 6G also provides audio de-embedding, with audio available through the HDMI output as well as balanced analog and AES/EBU digital audio outputs. It supports 24-bit, 48 kHz audio for professional production workflows.
Advanced features include HD down-conversion for monitoring Ultra HD on HD HDMI displays, built-in 3D LUTs, and HDMI instant lock for quick video display when an SDI source is connected.
