xThe Blackmagic Design SmartView 4K G3 is a professional 15.6-inch Ultra HD broadcast monitor designed for demanding broadcast, studio and live production environments. It combines a full-resolution 3840 x 2160 LCD with both 12G-SDI and SMPTE-2110 IP video connectivity, allowing it to integrate with traditional SDI equipment and modern IP-based broadcast systems.
The monitor features two 12G-SDI inputs and a reclocked SDI loop output, supporting SD, HD, 2K, Ultra HD and DCI 4K formats up to 2160p60. It also includes an SFP optical fiber connector cage for 2110 IP video and optical SDI workflows.
For IP-based production, the SmartView 4K G3 provides 10Gb Ethernet with support for SMPTE-2110-20, 2110-21, 2110-30 and 2110-40, along with PTP and NMOS IS-04 and IS-05. This makes it suitable for professional IP routing and broadcast infrastructure.
