xThe Blackmagic Design Teranex Mini Optical to HDMI 12G Converter is a professional broadcast converter designed to convert 12G-SDI and optional SMPTE optical fiber signals to HDMI. It supports SD, HD, 2K, Ultra HD, and 4K DCI formats, making it suitable for broadcast monitoring, live production, post-production, and professional video distribution.
The converter features one 12G-SDI input, an optional 3G, 6G, or 12G-SDI optical SFP input, and an optical loop-through output. Its HDMI 2.0 output supports resolutions up to 2160p60, while automatic format detection and SDI reclocking help provide reliable signal conversion.
For audio, the Teranex Mini provides balanced XLR outputs that can be configured for analog or AES/EBU digital audio. Ethernet provides remote configuration and can also support PoE+, while an optional Teranex Mini Smart Panel adds an LCD display and front-panel controls.
