xThe Blackmagic Design Ultimatte 12 4K is a professional real-time compositing processor designed for live-action keying, broadcast graphics, virtual sets, and advanced studio production. It combines 12G-SDI connectivity with advanced image processing, color science, edge handling, and spill suppression for high-quality HD and Ultra HD compositing.
The Ultimatte 12 4K features eight SDI inputs, nine SDI outputs, and seven SDI loop outputs, with video input re-sync on all inputs. It supports Ultra HD up to 2160p60, 10-bit 4:2:2 processing, and Rec. 601, Rec. 709, and Rec. 2020 color spaces.
For modern IP production, the unit also supports SMPTE 2110, PTP, NMOS discovery and connection management, and up to 10Gb/s Ethernet.
