It combines a 12K Super 35 sensor with 14 stops of dynamic range and Blackmagic’s advanced color science for detailed, cinematic images.
The integrated optical low-pass filter is precisely matched to the 12K sensor to help reduce moiré and aliasing while maintaining fine image detail. Its updated IR filtering also improves far-red color response, making the camera well suited to high-resolution shooting and LED volume environments.
The camera records 12-bit Blackmagic RAW at resolutions up to 12K and supports high-speed recording at up to 240fps in 4K Super 16. It also features a PL lens mount, built-in four-position IR ND filter wheel, dual CFast 2.0 and SD UHS-II card slots, plus USB-C recording to external flash disks or SSDs.
